Weekly Reflection: November 2

Reporter: Isaac and Kayla

On Monday, October 30, our 1st grade buddies came up for a pumpkin project. We used construction paper, scissors, and glue. We took turns handling stuff so it would be fair. We made pumpkins out of paper but they looked real! We were glad that they came upstairs to be with us. Sometimes it gets lonely, so it’s good to have company.

On Tuesday, October 31, we had our Halloween party! We had lots of fun making crafts and taking pictures in the photo booth. There were 24 great costumes and a lot of more great costumes at the parade!! We made bookmarks, little paper monsters, and decorated picture frames! We had a great Halloween full of fun crafts and costumes!

On Thursday, November 2, we had our first grade buddies come over to our classroom again. We read the final chapter of A Nest for Celeste together. At home we made or printed the most important pictures that stood for things in A Nest for Celeste. So then we met with our buddies and made a collage about the most important ideas and characters from A Nest for Celeste!

This week we had a lot of fun time with our buddies!!
