COMPUTER SAFETY

Hello. We are Nicole and Camille! Today we are going to talk about Computer safety. We did a lesson in LMC about how to be safe on computers. We learned that whatever we put on websites is permanent FOREVER!! We also learned about cyberbullying, and how people hurt others and can be rude to people. You should also NEVER put your information ANYWHERE!! Even on games, you should be careful not to chat on games because you may not know that person. We had so much fun on that day. We learned a lot!! Thanks for reading!!!

Weekly Reflection: November 2

On Monday, October 30, our 1st grade buddies came up for a pumpkin project. We used construction paper, scissors, and glue. We took turns handling stuff so it would be fair. We made pumpkins out of paper but they looked real! We were glad that they came upstairs to be with us. Sometimes it gets lonely, so it’s good to have company.

On Tuesday, October 31, we had our Halloween party! We had lots of fun making crafts and taking pictures in the photo booth. There were 24 great costumes and a lot of more great costumes at the parade!! We made bookmarks, little paper monsters, and decorated picture frames! We had a great Halloween full of fun crafts and costumes!

On Thursday, November 2, we had our first grade buddies come over to our classroom again. We read the final chapter of A Nest for Celeste together. At home we made or printed the most important pictures that stood for things in A Nest for Celeste. So then we met with our buddies and made a collage about the most important ideas and characters from A Nest for Celeste!

This week we had a lot of fun time with our buddies!!

Smile!
By Samantha and Kimara

On Friday, October 13, 2017...You're never fully dressed without a SMILE! After this assembly, no one left without a smile! We were talking about our one of a kind year! We were reviewing the different acts of kindness from the start of the first day of school. Then we watched what kinds of good deeds people have been doing.

The Vice Principal, Mrs.Vignocchi, played a “try not to smile” challenge. There was a video of a really cute kid at preschool singing. He was cracking up.  It made us all laugh.

Geography time!!

Here's what happened this week...
We had a social studies test this week.  We learned about latitude, longitude, and how to find places using latitude and longitude. We played Jeopardy to review for our test.

We are starting a lot of school clubs.  So far 4th graders get to do Techsperts, safety patrol, Patton Press, and Student Council. Safety patrol helps people do what your supposed to do safely. Then they can go into school faster.
